Die Insel - Hameln

This is on an island and seems to be a popular place. there are many covered and open seating outdoors and the interior is beautifully decorated. they serve simple local food, but despite advertising there was no lion brown beer, a great disappointment! I can pay by the nose for water in bottles, e4. 50 for 75 cls.

This was my first trip to the island and I was overwhelmed by the food and the price. I have eaten in many restaurants in Germany and this was by far the best I had in recent years, an excellent value for money

Very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, super delicious food, playground available which is always good for our kids after dinner. Can I recommend for any occasion! Whether you're just drinking a coffee or having dinner in the evening. Price/performance ratio is reasonable! We feel comfortable there for years as guests!!!

On a beautiful late summer day on the island unfortunately under pandemic conditions. The hygiene concept is implemented appropriately.
