Le Blason, Vaakuna Hämeenlinna

We went out to eat “Menu Le Blason” with both:. Fish of the day, chocolate pot de creme. Ethans were also introduced. The food was good and fine dining quality. There is so much food in these drawings that the hunger will be lost. The Mas in the foods are full, the kyllaans are on their heads, and the wheels are activated in the right places, not nearly. Definitely a restaurant worth recommending! The onlymiinus: Winter tables can be cold.

During our weekend in the Hämeenlinna area we went to Le Blason as per recommendation from our friends. Being French I loved the food with some slight welcome Finnish takes on the traditional French cuisine. We had the tartare, salmon feuilleté, beef maître d'hôtel, duck salade and tarte Tatin. Being a big fan of tarte Tatin I was really pleased with the one I ordered. The service was top, nice, welcoming with a big smile is always appreciated. The area is also lovely, you have the possibility to dine on the terrace close to the water! If you are near, you surely should stop by!

Surprisingly good food in Finland. Tenderloin was really nicely done. Just one thing those fries please change them to couscous or something else. Fries are just too simple and ordinary.
