Madisons Restaurant Bar - Halton Hills

This is the only full-service restaurant at the premium outlets, so options are limited, but the food is of excellent quality and the service is outstanding. We tried the fish and chips and steak tacos, both of which were fantastic, well-seasoned, and served hot! Alain has been a consistent presence here; every time I visit, he’s there! I wish Alain would start a consulting company to train all the servers in Toronto—he's quick, entertaining, accommodating, and always gets it right!

I had the Grilled Soho Chicken with rice, and it was fantastic! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender. The portion size was generous as well. I highly recommend Madison’s for your next lunch or dinner!

The western food here is overpriced. We ordered shrimp tempura for $18, which only included six small shrimp. I also tried the whole rack of ribs, but it was extremely dry – it felt like it had been cooked during a drought. We would have been better off eating at the food court. I do not recommend this place.

I went here recently with my friend, we wanted a nice sit down lunch since we had my baby with us. The door listed calamari which sounded good so we thought we would try it. Don't make the same mistake. Would not recommend going here. The calamari was rubbery and bland. I ordered the chicken sandwich, the oil was burned so it was inedible. Just tasted awful. Sent it back and no longer wanted the sandwich but a new sandwich made with untreated chicken was brought to me instead. I wasn't really given a choice. I was just told. It still wasn't great, so I just ate the chicken on its own. The fries were mediocre and so salty. My friend ordered Cesar salad and basically said it was just okay.I also asked if there was a change table, I was told yes. They shouldn't be saying yes since it was broken and unsafe. I noticed another review mention this so it's clearly been broken for a while. I had to hold it up with my knee.Anyways, do yourself a favor and just head to A&W or somewhere else. I had high expectations, knowing the chain from Quebec. The server was very nice, but besides that, I was pretty disappointed.The menu and prices posted online as the Toronto menu are quite different from the actual menu and prices in the restaurant.The children 's menu portions are quite small. The Half Baby Back Ribs (I 'm not sure if that 's supposed to mean half rack? was only 3-4 small bones. It was so small I actually had to order my 3 year a second order!Also, the change table in the family washroom was broken.Update: Followed up by email as requested, and never heard back.
