Epicurious Morcels - Halifax

Book a table before you go! This special spot in North End Halifax have experienced staff and top notch food. I've been there a couple of times since it opened and have never been disappointed. Everything on the menu is great, and I especially enjoyed their Shakshuka. For the first time, I had dessert during brunch the chocolate and it was the best decision I made there. Though it's a bit pricey, it's worth the money for the food and experience. I highly recommend this place and my next stop will be for dinner.

The reality was very different from my expectations. I was thinking of an old, stodgy, classic silver service restaurant. I wasn't expecting a great vibe, good music, chatty and busy. Amazing wine selection with incredibly knowledgeable staff. The small plates are perfect for sharing and varied. However it is spendy $12 for an Exile?! which makes it a nice treat but not a regular haunt. Will save my pennies and go back.

Had a wonderful first experience at The Ostrich Club in the hydrostone celebrating my partners graduation today. We tried all kinds of the amazing dishes that they offered. Each one better than the other. This was easily one of the best dining experiences I have had in Halifax! Our server Lindsay did a good job, and all of the cocktails were incredible. I now see why this is considered one of the best restaurants in Halifax!

My friend was recommended this place, so we thought we’d start our night here. What an amazing experience from the moment we walked in we were greeted and accommodated considering how busy it was. I really like the atmosphere, the colours, the wood the warmth and design. The service was next level the best recommendations, drinks made on the spot according to what we were feeling. The bartenders knowledge and service was fantastic. The food was truly amazing the dumplings were the of the night, we ordered more than a couple orders. I definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Halifax!

Excellent meal and great cocktails. Each of the small sharing plates we had were delicious with a melody of flavours. A great spot, we will definitely be back!
