This place can be good for someone trying Indian food for the first time. It is what I would call American Indian food in a sense that the flavors...
Definitely not an authentic Indian cuisine and not delicious. Do not order garlic nan as you are disappointed. Costco nan tastes much better. Will not be here...
We were lucky that my friends and I visited Half Moon Bay on a very bright and clear day. We were looking for something to eat on our way home until we stumbled on this place. A little stuffed, but a perfect place to go on a projector with candlelight and Bollywood movies. We ordered that. Masala papar for starters was fine with the brand Sula Chiraz wine. Veg Makhanwala and Dal Fry ticked the taste buds. Spinach Dal and Cumin Rice were a perfect combination. For Tandoori Breads we ordered chapatis and cheese-garlic naans that are soft and less oily. The Biryani missed the touch of a spicy edge. Ambience was light and pleasant. The lady who served us was hospitable and made us like at home with free shrimp (yogurt dish) served her to bring a sweet end to this amazing journey of aromas.
What a cozy place to eat an Indian food. The cook made excellent excellent butter chicken awesome Shahi wiper that wasn't even on the menu!! The naan was licking so soft food finger! Our host was so warm we felt we were home. Unforgettable food service! Best there is Mexican menu also from the same kitchen, looked delicious on other table, wud try it next time! Very recommended, miss it next time we are around!!!
