Kaikoubo - Hakodate

This place was great! everything in the menu looked good. the environment was amazingly surrounded by fish tanks filled with all fresh dinner decisions. I had the crab and sashimi it was perfect! eat so much good! also order a sapporo classic I guess they can only get this beer in hokkaido. the location was near the railway station hakodate like a 3 min walk. I want to be here again one day. it was the perfect end of a fantastic exploration of hakodate.

This is a first restaurant that I have in Hakodate. It was in nice place nearby Hakodate station. Even though we didn't make reservation that we didn't wait for a long time. The middle size (1lb)king crabs was $8000¥ for two way that u pick, we choose boiling and BBQ. They have English menu and we got lucky to have a lady server her English was good. She helped us a lot. Also we got a uni steam rice, in a great price. It need to take 40 min to waiting for it done, and worth it. Every single rice great combined with uni, I got all uni in my mouth. I will definitely come here again.

You can't get fresher seafood unless you catch it yourself! The grilled squid is awesome and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We had 6 entrees and they were all wonderful. Can't wait to return.

Food was amazing. Very friendly staff. Nice ambience.

Loved it. Had Assorted tempura, crab gratin, squid tempura, uni-ikura-don and crab fried rice.. The food was delicious. The fishes, crab, ikura (salmon eggs and squid were really fresh and mechha Oishi (super tasty .. The service was also really great. Were not good at speaking Japanese but the helpful behaviour made the experience quite smooth. Highly recommended.
