Discovering a gluten-free cafe in this area is like finding a hidden gem, and this unassuming cafe is definitely worth seeking out. I had the most delicious toastie I've ever had, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his BLT. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and the place was spotlessly clean. The cafe is situated away from the main road in a modern building with multiple uses, but new signage and outdoor seating are in the works. Take your time driving through the village, find this cafe, and treat yourself to a selection of fantastic dishes. I highly recommend it.

I couldn't believe our luck when we got off the bus in this village on a whim and stumbled upon this cafe just in time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, with a diverse menu to choose from. We couldn't resist trying the raspberry roulade for dessert, which was served with a light single cream instead of the usual double cream, making it a healthier option. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

After multiple visits, I can confidently say that this café consistently maintains high standards. Their breakfast is excellent, and their homemade soups and lunches are also very enjoyable. Whether you try a burger, omelette, scampi, or jacket potato, you will not be disappointed. They always have specials available, and there are clean toilets and easy, free parking. The staff are always helpful and the establishment is very clean.

This used to be Caffi Grug once upon a time but the owners of the main building (Council) has now let the café and kitchen out to 2 new local owners. Their food is very nice and sensibly priced. Excellent service and a very clean café. Well done.
