The Authentic Cheese Bread Co - Gurnee

The restaurant was empty inside, as if it had shut down and relocated. We were really disappointed because we drove 30 minutes specifically to try their pão de queijo. Please update your Google business listing and website to indicate that you are permanently closed, so others are aware before making the trip.

The Brazilian-style cheese bread here is exceptional—far better than what you'll find at Costco. They also offer a great variety of frozen meals, ranging from pot pies to feijoada, along with a delightful selection of sweet treats!

The restaurant is never open. I checked the hours on the sign, but it was closed every time I went by. I stopped by three times in one day, but had no luck at all.

This joint has a good variety of baked goods at the bakery, and sandwiches at the café part, staff are helpful and the food is tasty and reasonably priced.

Great place for authentic Brazilian food. They have a huge variety of snacks: pão de queijo, esfiha and coxinha to name a few. The owners are very professional. Highly recommend.
