Sunset Cork Room Wine Bar - Gulf Shores

This restaurant was recommended by a friend so we invited two other couples for New Years Eve. Maybe that was our first mistake. Rese4vations was at 8 pm which was fine with us but our waitress didn't take our order until 8:30 and dinner didn't get there until 9:20 ish. There was five specials to choose from. We had two who wanted the salmon and 4 was having the New York steak. When we ordered we were told they were out of both leaving 3 items to choose from. Wouldn't even substitute the veggies for us (really). Filets were delicious, lobster tail small for price and just ok, lamb chops not good at all totally overcooked. Service was very disappointing. Prices out of line for what you get. Not even a roll with your meal, really, rolls are cheap!!! Not a place we will be frequenting.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent! The Filet was the best I have had in years, cooked perfectly and incredibly tender. The Salmon was also fantastic. Despite our large party of 16, everyone received their food within 5 minutes of each other. I can't speak highly enough of this place. The service was great, the meal type was dinner, and the price per person ranged from $30 to $50.

The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious, but my experience on a Friday night was marred by a frightening incident. I started choking on my shrimp and thankfully, my sister was able to perform the Heimlich maneuver. Despite the crowded restaurant, not a single staff member came to our aid or offered assistance. We had to inform our server of the situation and quickly leave for urgent care. The lack of support or concern from the staff was unsettling, and it took a long time to get our bill and leave the restaurant. It was a scary and confusing experience, and the lack of response from the restaurant staff was disappointing.

This restaurant may be hidden away, but it is absolutely fantastic! The bartender, Eric, was exceptional and the live music was fantastic. The food was definitely worth every cent. You will not be disappointed!

This place is a hidden gem! We got the pasta, lamb chops and halibut! I couldn't decide which was my favorite. To top is all off the bread pudding is a must! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
