Fabulous restaurant in front of the main square in guimaraes. romantic ambiente with subtle music in the background and lighting to set the mood. eating is fresh salads. Fish...steak and sandwiches Portuguese style...a must!

Everyone should make a point of eating outside the historic center of guimraraes. there are good restaurants like these hidden. eating is well prepared, the staff is talented and the facilities are great. it is a much better value, is more friendly, and has a better atmosphere than the places in the old city center.

Wonderful relaxing caffe in the inner city of Guimarães. modern decor with traditional diners and great trips. the freshly pressed orange juice was perfect for the hot day. I tried the Portuguese sandwich with sauce called francesinha with an excellent house wine. the special of the day looked fantastic, I think it was a risotto of any kind, but they just ran out when we were not there until about 2: 30. service was brilliant. only a really nice lunch after the walk through the city and the palast.
