Tongham Curry House - Guildford

Take away ordered evening of 12th August 2023. Very poor experience. The chicken tandoori was incredibly dry and inedible. Samosas and pakora soggy and tasted of just oil. Onion bhajis were completely over cooked and very tough. Lamb tikka was ok but cold when it arrived. I won’t be ordering from here again. If you’re reading this, proceed with caution and don’t make the same mistake as I did!!!

Since moving to the area we have had dinner from Tongham Curry House on numerous occasions and have enjoyed each one Friendly staff, quick service and good food at a reasonable price. What more can you ask for This is easily our go to Indian for a takeaway

I cannot find the words to describe how delicious the curries we ordered from this takeout were! They were absolutely fantastic! The flavors were rich and they tasted like homemade. The portion sizes for the prices were also very generous. The man at the cash register assisted us in choosing two vegetarian curries without any trouble. He was very helpful. We will definitely be returning to this place again and again!

We ordered two vegetable dhansaks, two lemon pilau rice, and one peshwari naan for delivery, and it arrived right on time. Everything was delicious and piping hot.

We had the worst curry we've ever had at this restaurant. The onion bhajis were like rocks, the chicken was tough, and the Bombay aloo was plain. It was a really disappointing experience. When we called to complain, they offered us free bhajis on our next visit, but we declined. The manager claimed he had never received a complaint before, but online reviews suggest otherwise. It seems like they should listen to feedback and make improvements. We tried to provide constructive criticism, but they weren't interested. We recommend Curzon in Ash as a much better option.
