Sea Salt Fish Chips - Guildford

The staff were lovely cannot fault them, but when it comes to the food I had high hopes form the other reviews, sadly we didn’t have the same experience, the batter sausage was soggy and missing some batter and was very greasy, the saveloy was not very nice and chips very greasy and very oily and not very thick so were like crisps some also were quite stale and look like scraps. We won’t be returning don’t recommend

Previously awful, now amazing. I highly recommend this place! My family and I visit about once a month and are always pleased with our meals. The chips here are superior to those at other fish and chip establishments – they are crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and not overly greasy.

The last time we dined here was when the previous owner was in charge, and it was a terrible experience. However, I am pleased to say that the food has drastically improved! The freshly cooked chips were not greasy or soggy, and the fish was delicious - flakey and not greasy, with a nice crispy batter. The staff were friendly, and despite the busy atmosphere, our food was ready in no time. A great improvement overall!

This fish and chip shop offers some excellent value weekday lunchtime specials. Freshly cooked hot and tasty not too greasy it well.presented and boxed up.and includes a plastic knife and fork. The service was warm and friendly. We will definitely be taking advantage of this lunchtime offer again . We consumed our food on a bench on Ripley Common. Great
