Bidra med feedbackI stopped by for a coffee and sat outside in the warm sunshine. The coffee was good and there was a friendly atmosphere all around. I always enjoy driving through this village, but I'm not sure if the bright blue exterior of this coffee shop matches the village's aesthetic. Hopefully, it's not a permanent fixture.
This cafe is extremely friendly and helpful, creating a wonderful sense of community and going above and beyond to assist newcomers and visitors. It is excellently managed by Robin and Sue, who provide great service. They can also cater for various events, such as garden parties. I highly recommend this place at any time, as everything is freshly made and delicious.
I was a bit worried when I noticed that this cafe did not have a displayed Food Hygiene rating. I decided to look it up before ordering, and I'm glad I did. The rating was 0 and has been that way for a while. According to Guildford Borough Council, urgent improvements are needed, but it seems the owners/managers have not addressed the issues. It's no wonder they don't display the rating. It's shocking that people still go there. I decided to leave as I don't want to eat or drink somewhere with such poor hygiene standards. I strongly believe that it should be mandatory for all establishments to display this information.
I used to frequent Quaich often until I saw they had a food hygiene rating of 0 out of 5 for 3 years running from the council food standards department. The lowest rating of any food business for 10 miles. I now avoid.
We had the best fully loaded hot chocolate! They also have dairy free milk. The most welcoming, friendly and cosy place that we found after our hike. Can’t recommend it enough, lovely staff and so festive. The chocolate cake was a dream too. We bought a little handmade knitted snowman who was adorable, and made a donation to ovarian cancer research for it. We’ll definitely be back!
