Seriously, unexpectedly delicious! The Chicken Paprikash was divine and the brussel sprouts were so so so good! Everyone in our large group loved everything we ate kebabs to Paprikash! Really great service, and the waiter suggested a fantastic place for an after dinner afagatto Nimble and Finn! A really perfect dinner! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Really cute place. The brussels sprouts were fantastic! However, the brots were ok and the donor kebab was absolutely flavorless. I actually had a hard time eating it. The chicken had NO flavor, neither did the rest of the contents. Really disappointing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We got some food to go. It took 30 min, the quantities were small, the prices were not small. They charged a service fee (for pick up? , the service staff was not pleasant and there was no place to wait. The veggie wurst was good, though. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
Cozy, upscale atmosphere with warm, romantic lighting and funny finishing touches (love the black walls and wicker laternen, the wooden wall installation mimics the silhouette of the alps, the quirky cuckuckuckuckuckoo clock wall, and the old black white silent movies projected on the back wall of the restaurants.) the menu is delicious and fuller ingredients are fresh and high quality. Not sure what other critics complain about authenticity – we are not in Germany. for a small town in rural sonoma county, I think the people at bröt do a phenomenal work with their "modern German" tariff. we love the carving with mushroom jaeger soße, doner kebab pita, late zle, bretzel, brotknödel with lingonberry jam, roast with delicious senfs sour wort, the kartoffelsalat and the flammkuchen. the salads are always good. their beer list has classic German brews, which are served in large glasses, just as they should be. service is also excellent. Given the fact that we are a small town with limited staff and a huge influx of tourist in the warmer months, the team of bröt makes an excellent work under an immense pressure. I need to think that someone here complains about the service either visited in a night during the personal shortage, or maybe were just difficult customers. we are visiting brittlely and never had a bad experience (although we have experienced our share of high-maintenance protectors.) as for the 20% service charge others consider, it is great. saves us the effort to calculate our tipp, and helps to ensure that the server and the back of the home staff are paid a living reward with pre-sharing. in an area with high living costs and few high paying jobs (usually seasonal tourism-centric minimum wages), it is nice to see local workers looking for their personal. it is not as if they were trying to sneak it past them, either – it is clearly printed on all menus, and they are religious to remember them when they fall out of the deck. if they are too cheap to tap well, they don't go out eating. problem solved. we love date nights in bröt, and are grateful to have such a fun option so close to home. highly recommended.
