The Brass Taps Campus Pub - Guelph

I have eaten here many times over the years and the one consistent thing I feel this pub does is sports. If you love sports bars then this is a good pub to come to. The food is better than the usual pub fare and its not very expensive. I would not go here for a date but rather to just grab a quick something to eat if scenery is not a factor for you. Service can be a little slow and its usually full of young college students but given the location that is to be expected.

This is a fairly typical little bar and restaurant serving very generic university pub style food. A lot of fun for those at the university, fond memories for those of us who were there in the past. A bit out of the way to drop in for a casual dinner, however the consistency and the fun atmosphere make it an okay choice for a casual fun night.

We went to The Brass Taps for a Brewry Fest. There were ten different brewers positioned around the walls of the Pub and we had the opportunity to taste the various beers offered. We took a table, sampled beers and had a couple of burgers. I'd recommend the burger with the 40 Creek bbq sauce on it; delicious! The sweet potato fries are very good and they make a mean greek salad. Everything was reasonably priced. Guelph, you have a gem in your midst!

Nice pub to grab a pint of beer. located in the university center. its a small pub i like going there when i am in town and play some pool
