Ken's Family - Guelph

Restaurant permanently closed last year after fire. Not rebuilding nor relocating. Likely a good thing. The cleanliness of the place had a lot of room for improvement.

We tried Ken's for breakfast last week as an alternative to another establishment we typically go to but have been dissapointed by lately. The food at Ken's was good for the price, but we were never presented with an actual menu and we waited 25...More

The service was slow, the food was not homemade even though they advertised that it was. The general cleandliness of the restaurant was terrible. The wait staff was very crabby and not helpful in the least. Very unimpressed with my meal, I was recommended the veal on a kaiser, it was burn and tough, as well it had crappy processed cheese on it when it was advertised as monserella. One of the worst restaurants that I have ever eaten at! I will not go back ever!

Hot food, good coffee, pretty basic. Standard Canadian breakfast, host was quick to serve but not much else going for it.

Crabby waitress average food overall certainly won't be back
