Don Taco - gstowne

Tacos tacos were solid. I like the choices and the fact that they give a good amount of meat. Nothing is worse than tacos where they don't put in meat to save money. This is the second time I've gone because so many other restaurants do not do this! The staff is friendly and the bartender pours good drinks. Had margaritas on happy hour and that was worth it.

Food was great. Guac queso were delicious and drinks were good. Only confusing thing is they’re open until 12 but last call for kitchen and drinks is 10:30.

Mediocre tacos. No respect for food allergy. Bad service. 6+ year resident of El Paso here. Went on Friday night @8. Ordered a Bulgogi taco and an avacado taco for friend with food allergy. Food was delivered on same plate with meat on veggie taco. Asked for another avocado taco. Recieved same plate back that had been wiped with same tepid taco from wait staff. Took forever to get check. -5/10 will not repeat. This is Old Town's Taco version of Champps. Tacqueria Poblano in Del Ray all the way. Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Did not handle food allergy well. Replated food that had been cross contaminated.

This was my first visit and I loved it! The variety on the menu was perfect. The service was attentive, without being intrusive. The atmosphere was festive and welcoming.

So we decided to try this place out tonight thru Uber eats. We ordered a few tacos. I ate mine and they were delicious! Then, i heard a loud screech (my wife) who but into her taco to find a cockroach!! Thank god she didnt eat it. This was going to be my new fave spot but now its not. You have to do better Don Taco. We just spent $60 to toss it in the trash...
