Yen Ching - Grover

We used to enjoy Yen Ching at the Dierbergs on Olive Blvd in Creve Coeur, and I was truly in love with their food, especially the Spicy Crispy Beef. It's a shame that Dierbergs decided to replace them with the overpriced and unappealing chain, Big Bowl. I really miss the Spicy Crispy Beef and wish I could find a Yen Ching nearby again.

Yen Ching is my favorite Chinese restaurant. While it's typical of suburban Chinese takeout, it outshines any other place I've tried. Unlike some restaurants where the quality can vary, my experiences at Yen Ching have consistently been excellent. The food is always fantastic, served hot and fresh, and the staff is always friendly and precise. My go-to dish is General Tso's Chicken, which has consistently been delicious, featuring moist, non-stringy chicken. Unlike many other places, it actually delivers on the spiciness when I ask for extra hot. I've tried other dishes as well, and they've all been equally impressive. The roasted rice is tasty and doesn't come with those onions I dislike. The crab rangoon is also a must-try. I highly recommend Yen Ching!
