Applebee's Grill And Groton

Great experience. Food was great, quickly came out and the staff was very friendly. In any case, it will eat there.

Kayla was awesome! Not only was she most of everyone's server but, also the hostess. She was attentive, sweet, and very welcoming. I haven't been to Applebees in YEARS but, this one in Groton is a very nice welcome back. Great food, service, and easy to spot from roads. The deals and selection of food is amazing, was not expecting that good of quality. Recommend to others in area.

The atmosphere and lighting in the restaurant are outstanding. During my visit, it was peaceful and calming, and the staff were very friendly—our waitress was exceptional. However, I found the food to be disappointing compared to my previous experiences. The steak lacked flavor; it had been seasoned well in the past, but this time it was almost plain. Although it was cooked to the rare level I requested, I was let down by the taste. I still give it four stars because the potatoes were absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. I think this may have been influenced by our desire to turn off the air conditioning, which created a bit of irony in the situation.

I also had dinner out with my daughter and a friend, and that experience was equally fantastic. The service was great, and the meals were delicious. Our waitress was very accommodating and friendly, making it a memorable evening. However, I had to take away a star because during one visit, a small pepper accidentally made its way into my salad, which I’m allergic to. I broke out in hives but still had to pay full price for my meal.
