The cafe will not wear unless it is mandated. Yes, I saw reviews that said don’t go if you are worried... the owner also said ‘don’t come if I am worried’ and this screams, “my comfort is more important than yours”. I travel all over...the province. All the coffee shops I’ve been to wear masks. This coffee shop is a real junction and I must say it is a treat to go to when I travel... and, it is truly unfortunate that they will not act on the recommendation to wear masks (as the provincial heath officer suggests). This attitude is not progressive and it is not looking into the future. As cold weather comes, the aerosols will continue to linger longer, there is a real chance there will be a covid exposure. It is so simple and yet much too inconvenient for the owner and staff. Shame.

Love this place!! Excellent coffee and treats. Wonderful gift selection as well. I would disagree with the covid reviews for this place. They are doing the best they can and I think if you are worried about covid in an establishment you should remain at...home. They had all the precautions that other establishment have had during this difficult time. Bravo to you folks for remaining open and still trying your best to be mindful of the covid protocols.
