Bidra med feedbackAs the name says, a must go place for momo lovers. The momos/dumplings are the first thing to begin with. The noticeable thing is that every item on the menu is with a picture to entice your taste buds as well as give you a glimpse of what to expect. The place has a nice authentic vibe to it. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Overall a must visit place for the ones craving for momos in London.
Its a nice place with good food . Especially the Momos and other Tibetan dishes . We tried the steamed chicken momo, jhol momo, lamb stew with a bun and chicken fried rice. We ordered the lamb fried rice first but the lambs were very chewy so they immediately changed it . The improvement could be , someone should explain the dishes . The lady juts gave the menus and a order book and expected us to write the number . We had to call her twice to ask for details .
Wow where to begin on this place! For someone who likes sticking to the same pallet of food I was nervous at first about dinning here but I was definitely not disappointed. The food was nice a fresh and they curries were some of the best curries I’ve ever had especially the chickpea potato one even the sauces on the side were absolutely delicious. The bread was nice and freshly baked , rice was soft and perfect. Staff are nice and place looked beautiful. Definitely now a go too 100 percent recommend .
I went to Kailash Momo because I really miss foods from Nepal and everyone I knew recommended that it was a top place where you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine. Now I had to travel 3 hours to get there.Needless to say I went there with huge expectation. The foods however... were okay-ish. They were Nepalese cuisine but it was not delicious at all. For the price I paid I feel like I at least I deserve a decent and delicious Nepalese food as they're supposed to be. Shabhale was bland, Chowmein was too oily, Laphing smelled like it was stale, Momo wasn't too deli either, Achaar however was a star. Chilli Oil and Tomato Achaar was exceptional but other dishes as a foodie was a disappointment to me. The staffs were really friendly and welcoming which is why I am rating it 3 instead of 2.
The food here is traditional Nepalese style cooked. Not very expensive and the food is worth every penny you spend there. I loved the momos , especially the chilli momos. I went in with zero expectations after seeing their entrance, thinking it is a small business I shouldn't expect more. But it is one of those examples where you say don't judge a book by it's cover.
