Nice, quiet and relaxing with stunning views toward the park. The large ship in a bottle is something that catches the eye.
This place is incredible. There is a large ship in a bottle located outside the rear entrance of the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich.
We visited the cafe on the upper level and found it to be quite expensive, especially considering that the cappuccinos were mostly foam. Despite this, we enjoyed the open and roomy cafe space. The Museum entry is free, so the higher prices at the cafe were not a big issue. We were fascinated by the ship in a bottle, which attracted a lot of attention on a lovely sunny day in November.
Having spent a very interesting couple of hours visiting the Franklin exhibition at Greenwich Museum after Christmas we were looking for a drink and a snack. Near the exit to the rear of museum is a small café. The café was very busy as it was during lunchtime and it was the school holidays. We decided just to have a drink and cake and once bought we managed to find a table to sit at. The seating area is relatively small and with lots of families with young children it was an obstacle course to navigate the many pushchairs/buggies. The table was not that clean with dirty plates still on the table and food over the floor. Overall average but may be better during the week and outside of school holidays.
