Alpen Pantry - Greenwich

My husband and I visited Alpen Pantry for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing! My favorite sandwich shop in town has been Something Natural, but Alpen Pantry is a strong contender for the top spot. Being six months pregnant, I appreciated the patience and creativity of the man behind the counter, who helped me find a non-deli meat sandwich option. I chose the chicken salad with plenty of veggies on black bread, and it was delicious. My husband ordered the Italian sandwich and was extremely impressed. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the sandwiches were expertly made. We will definitely be returning!

I tried three of their fan favorites: The Stilton, The Bomber, and The Bearnaise. I can honestly say they were all incredible. I can’t wait to return and try the entire menu. Although their sandwiches may sound basic, they are anything but. If you’re in the Old Greenwich area, this is a must-try. If you see them, be sure to mention that Mike sent you!

This place is fantastic! It's tough to pick a favorite sandwich because they are all delicious, but I usually go for the Gobbler or the classic Italian. I also really appreciate the new market items they've introduced. During the holiday season, they had some adorable gift baskets that made perfect hostess gifts. The new owners are incredibly kind and clearly passionate about their work. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!

Frannie and Drew (the new owners) do a good job with this sandwich shop. I cost several sandwiches at this point and they're all delicious. There is a really cool atmosphere, and it's really special. If you are looking for a top-notch sandwich experience, don't look further than Alpen Pantry. This is the best sandwich place.

Great place! They are giving the other sandwich shops in the area a serious run for their money I recommend all the Turkey sandwiches!
