Sammy's New York Bistro - Greenville

Great food. Visited Sammy's for the first time and I was really impressed. They have a very diverse menu including wings, sandwiches, salads, and pasta. The sandwiches are fairly large and can be shared if you are not a heavy eater. They have nightly specials including drink specials, karaoke, and ladies night. Good spot for hanging with friends. Full bar with a dance floor and they do occasion have live music. Definitely recommend trying Sammy's.

We were seated and served on quickly! The server had good recommendations, I ended up getting the reuben because he said they had the best in town. It was pretty good! And pretty fair on the servings.. MAYBE a little more on the side for the price though. The interior was spacious and laid out nicely, although seemed slightly dark for it to be lunch time. The bar area was big and seemed to have decent drink prices. I did see that they had daily specials which is nice for Greenville. The menu had a huge variety of food to choose from, so if you can do it all right this isn't an issue. I will be back to give something else a try.

Not just a deli, some great dishes with a very large menu, salads, middle eastern foods, build your own pasta, open faced sandwiches, seafood pastas, soups, the Godzilla 1 pound burger, much much more. They just opened in old mimi,s on woodruff. Really enjoyed dinner.For desert try the almond joy cake :

Sammy is an awesome guy. Great place to eat, drink, and watch the game. Food is great too!

What a great place! Our waitress Kat was fantastic, very upbeat and attentive. The food was decent my wife had a burger and said it was fresh juicy and cooked right. I had what equated to a hot Italian sub, it was good but would have been better (in my opinion) if there was mozzarella cheese added to it and the whole sandwich put into a hot oven (pizza oven) for a few minutes to toast the bread and melt the cheese. We will be back for sure.
