The Casual Pint-rivergate

The food was delicious and the space is clean and carefully laid out. However, the kitchen seems totally inadequate for the menu they?re selling. Went for lunch with 5 on a Friday afternoon and the first thing we were told was ?we have a small kitchen so all your food may not come out together.? The place was busy, but not crowded and right they were. The last person in our party didn?t get food until the first few had already finished their meal. I was so looking forward to Hamilton having a new FOOD option and not just another beer joint. I hope a good bar scene will allow them to expand the kitchen to serve the menu properly.

Great beer, selection, and atmosphere! Ann Marie and Casual Pint have been a wonderful addition to our Downtown community. I often see them raising awareness for good causes and being the glue to community initiatives. In light of recent events, I wanted to be sure to share what an asset they have been to our area consistently for years!

The Casual Pint has such a hometown feel. We went in for a lunch and met the owner. It?s not very often you walk into a place and the owner greets you with open arms and a smile. The owner Ann Marie has a real heart for community and I am so glad she is here. We had great conversation, which I?m sure made the food that much better. It?s crazy, they have been here 3 years and this is the first time I was in, but will not be the last. I of course posted these pictures on my socials and sent friends running to try The Casual Pint. I had the chicken quesadilla (spicy) and it was delicious. The other picture is the BBQ chicken flatbread minus the bacon. I didn?t try it, was told it was delicious!

The casual pint is a sports bar in the heart of downtown Hamilton. They have a vast selection of beers on tap along with many types of bar foods to choose from, including flatbreads, burgers and appetizers. The inside has a little bit of an industrial feel, but they also have outdoor seating on a patio and have created a beer garden in the neighboring parking lot, which has tables and umbrellas for shade.

Beer selection was great. Decent food menu. However, food did not come out together and they did not prepare food properly. We had to get them to remake something four times just to get ranch in the side instead of in the wrap.
