Bidra med feedbackThis place is sensational. By far the best food we’ve had during our travels in Mexico. And so reasonably priced!
If you are short on time and up for a snack-type food, this is the place to visit in Tulum! This is a typical local taco joint where one can get in and out quick. The food (Al Pastor and Quesadillas) is good and the place serves beer, as well. Beer and tacos are the best combination when time is a factor and wanting to satisfy hunger before showring and preparing for a night out in town.
Anytime I see trompo, I will try it, and this place had some of the best I have ever eaten, US or Mexico!!! No complaints on service and the prices were excellent! Great green sauce as well.
I usually don't leave many bad reviews but wow. This places service was awful and that's saying something since I'm a patient person. After being seated, my girlfriend and I waited 10 minutes (in a rather empty patio) before we even got to order our drinks. Another 25 minutes later we finally got our food. People who came in after us were getting their drinks and food way before us. I guess because we looked like tourists. The food? Ugh. Bland and no flavor at all. The only thing that was actually great was the licuado. If you want real tacos that are bigger and much tastier visit Taqueria Honoria.
I can't believe it's taken me this long to write this review, but it's long overdue. La Chiapaneca is a must when you visit Tulum. Every time we visit Tulum, we have lunch there. The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. Definitely try the pastor.
