Bidra med feedbackLovely little pub! stoped here on our holidays friendly helpful people. We would have like to go back but we ran out of time. Plus pool is only 50p!
This pub used to be the best in the whole area. Sadly, it is now little more than a 'sports bar ' with two televisions now. I 've never tried the food, as I didn 't like the look of the menu.I 've given up visiting, as I feel about as welcome as a fart in an elevator. I can 't wait until it sells (again).
Visited on May 30, 19 selected this position as it was a rural inn and had good reviews. not disappointed. eating was served in time and plentiful. they were short of some items on menu, so first selection could not be ordered, but nevertheless what we consumed was ideal. Car parking can be too busy times, difficult to leave small area to car on a side of the inn. would use this inn again if and when in the locality.
Paul and Lorraine are really friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the village August 2018 and found the pub a real joy . The locals are really friendly and helpful too. The food at the pub is good home cooked food and very reasonably priced .
Often runs out of beer! This review was made when Marj and Ian were the landlord and landlady..... The current owners Paul, Lorraine, Shannon and Lauren are excellent hosts who make you feel very welcome and more importantly their beer never runs out!
