Fred's Diner - Grayslake

Fred was rocky. It is a bit dated in decor and they only accept cash, but that means I had the steak and eggs for $10.50 and it was so solid it was as if they were the price of when it was opened first. I can't imagine it's doing this breakfast somewhere for any place near this price.

We love eating here. Joyce the owner is amazing, her staff is just as awesome. Great food, great atmosphere, they treat every customer as family. A must visit.

Loved it. The pancakes are the absolute best. I'm looking forward to me next visit to try some more.

Affordable food and really fun environment. My favorite place to get breakfast, brunch, or lunch in the Grayslake area. You can easily get a large breakfast or lunch for under $10 a person, the food is fresh, and the waitresses are personable with a small dose of loving sass!

Amazing breakfast spot! Awesome fun personalities from the workers. Very affordable, food is good! Wouldn’t recommend if you’re overly sensitive.
