Cracking pub with great beer situated a short distance from some excellent Indian restaurants

Thank you the amazing Annette, for allowing me to arrive so late on a Saturday night! I was left in a really crap situation and if it wasn’t for this lady and the staff at gravesend train station I honestly don’t know what the situation would have been for me! So welcoming, could see I was distressed and upset when I arrived and she made the time to listen and talk with me. Room was comfortable too. Again thank you so much for your hospitality

This is a really good old fashioned English pub, spoilt only by the arrogant and extremely rude attitude of one member of staff. She really needs to learn how to speak to customers politely.

Beer is good and bar snacks on a Sunday lunch time, can't complain
