Silver Pines Restaurant - Gravenhurst

This place is clean, well run and well designed. it does not apply, unruly groups of students or arrogant millenials, which cannot be intended for the rest of us any punishment for them. this place is for peaceful families, couples and friends who respect nature and other people. enjoy friendly talk and laugh here. the cabins are clean with kitchen appliances, but let us face, you come here to melt with nature. ripe trees, natural sea position, large open green area along the oat. muskoka chairs are designed for them to take the view. when this charges up their batteries and renews their souls, they stay here, or spend at least some time appreciating this neck of the forest. the restaurant has high quality fresh food with friendly, respectful service. it is not fast eating for eating and running set. it is fine eating lovingly prepared and comes with an unspoken side of “to stay once and enjoy the ambience”. family friendly, accessible ramp, full bar.

Best fishing and chips of all time (but too many chips). beautiful environment, right at the lake and wonderful server. a classic!

We have often been in this restaurant and have always enjoyed each other. large pizza, great fish and chips, menu has many nice choices and several good apps. that is very beautiful and the people are great. expect a slower service because the place is busy and the kitchen is smaller.

Fried food. the fish and chips are in order, if they don't mind, an inevitable waiting for them. we literally waited for hours for our meal the last (and I mean last) time we visited. one of the children slept on the table waiting for their...Dino Buddhas and fries. the waitress. the soou is busy. because the kitchen is so small. I wouldn't be back, but it's always packed so if they like this type of service and eating...it's the only place to eat in the opposite.

We ate here because the resort we were staying at had horrible, overpriced food and there was no other place we could find to eat! The fish and chips were tasty and the portions generous. However we waIted for one hour to be served (not...exaggerating) and there was no air conditioning in the heat of July summer so by the time the food arrived we were all hot, grumpy and uncomfortable.
