Harvey's Swiss Chalet - Gravenhurst

This was a quick stop back to the Toronto airport at the end of our vacation. It was picked at random off the highway. Food was fast, hot and good. Wish we would have looked into more of these places on our trip earlier.

To be kind I gave it an average rating but it really was bad. The staff did not know what they were doing. Waited in line e for over half an hour just to place our order. Fries came first then waited for our burgers. Waited for the chicken wrap. Then the salad. By the time my salad came the fries were old. Oh an d the milkshakes were very slushy. The staff was falling over each other because there were so many of them.yet they could not put an order together so the food was hot.

My friend and I went for lunch yesterday. Ordering at the counter was a bit confusing, but overall it was a good experience. We ordered the chicken, which was just okay. The white meat was a bit dry, but the dark meat was good. Unfortunately, it was an extremely hot day and we went inside expecting air conditioning to enjoy our meal in a cool atmosphere. However, the air conditioning was not working well enough, as we felt it was cooler outside at a picnic table after we finished our meal. We will return, but to the Bracebridge location instead.

This relatively new spot is very clean and conveniently located and is good fast food along with excellent service. We would certainly go here again and recommend it for people in the area looking for something fast and reasonably priced.

It's a new restaurant with Swiss chalet and Harvey's at the same counter. Wow confusing . The Swiss chalet stuff is brought to you table with plates and Harvey's you pick up at the counter and if you have a mix you have put bomber on table and stand at counter waiting. Man is this going to be sped up by the summer in a hoping cottager town. Food was good but it is a chain so it better be. And
