South Pine Cafe Grass Valley

This is my go-to spot for breakfast. I typically stick to scrambled eggs and bacon, and I prefer not to have salsa with it. I do wish they still had the chorizo and egg option, but the vegetarian choices are also good. The scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage with bread are all delicious. The eggs are cooked perfectly, the bacon is not greasy, and the sourdough bread comes with a fantastic berry jam. Overall, it's a great way to begin the day!

Delicious food, as always... the Potabella Scramble is one of my favorites! They did a nice job of packing the sauce and gravy separately so nothing got soggy on the way.

The pancakes were nearly $15 and did not come with syrup. The eggs were rubbery, unseasoned, and cold. The potatoes were also underseasoned and cold, and the hollandaise sauce was nearly $6 for a small to-go cup, which was also cold. I typically enjoy dining at South Pine, but I will never order delivery from there again.

The food was cold and the avocado was brown. Additionally, it was not packaged in a sealed bag or container.
