Jaku Sushi North - Grand Rapids

The first time in this place. Not bad, it was all tasty with a few small disappointments, i.e. the kosho (stuffed jalapeños) was a little lack of heat; the unagi part was a little smaller than some other places in the city; too much rice edamame. The tempura was up, very good; the nigiri was equally good, not dried around the edges, I actually enjoyed the salad. That means I'd eat here again.

Best customer service I have received for a long time! And on our anniversary no less. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Jaku is the best sushi in Grand Rapids. The sashimi is the best you can find this side of the state. The Japanese/Korean menu has something for everyone and for every hunger. Stop reading this review and go now. You have definitely found your new favorite sushi spot!!

I didn?t like it at all, the Iceland Volcano roll had a very awful taste because of the torched salmon; Special California was like steamed vegetables in a roll, the veggie roll was nothing special and the spicy salmon roll was not spicy and there was barely salmon in it. Very disappointing experience. And it was expensive for what we had!
