Outback Steakhouse - Grand Junction

This restaurant experience was a huge disappointment. We ordered two take-out steaks, and both were a disaster. The filet was overcooked, one of the sides was missing, and the other side was incorrect. It was a complete mess.

Eating was great also with the blue cheese salad and it was excellent. on Monday evening we sat right away. the hostess was very polite.

I can't speak on behalf of Chris the bartender, who is actually fantastic. I used to live here years ago, and unfortunately, the decline had already begun.

Our food took an hour to arrive, and the steaks were lacking in flavor and were only lukewarm. The shrimp was overly salty, making it nearly inedible. The drinks were lackluster as well.

Can't believe we returned to this place, but the wife demanded we give it another try. WOW... not only did we make another trip, but three more trips and every meal was just awesome....... With our last three meals here... I now want to eat here three nights a week. Very good!!!!
