Bidra med feedbackMexican food, yeah, excellent. Service is always nice even when they have a full house. Fast and courteous service.
Had a great time at Mi Mexico. I ordered the carne asada— it was absolutely delicious. The people I was with had the tacos carbon and the burrito loco. They really liked their meals too. The guacamole is a little spicy (there are jalapeños in it) so be aware of that in case you don’t like spice. There are three different kinds of salsa, so that’s really cool. The chips were fresh and warm. Great service as well. Definitely will be going there again!
Excellent food! Beautifully decorated, immaculately kept restaurant. The staff is polite and helpful without being 'pesty '.
Absolutely delicious! The staff wasn't exactly overflowing with hospitality at first, but no complaints on the warm chips and salsa and refills. We had a two-year old at the table who was practically drinking the mild salsa. The mushroom salsa is unique and delicious. Some of the platters are higher priced, but customers definitely gets what they pay for. The menu is huge with some unique offerings- it was hard to decide what to get! The green mole sauce was delicious. Ambiance is fun, music is just right, and the food service was quick on a quiet Friday night. (P.S. Dishes with ground beef have just a traditional Americanized Mexican beef- still tasty, though.
Visiting family in Grand Junction from Denver. In Denver, we have amazing Mexican food so my standards are pretty high. I am giving 3 stars instead of 2 stars because of the quick and friendly service. My aunt and I decided to stop in for lunch on a Monday. The salsa was adequate and the best part of our meal which is saying a lot. My aunt had the tacos el carbon and I had two crispy chili rellanos with cheese sauce on top. The food looked delicious upon the first look but the taste was nothing to write home about—fairly bland and cold. My food was fairly cold and my aunt’s was barely warm. Like I said the food was bland but my aunt did say the beans were yummy. Prices were a bit high for what you get. My rellanos were $4.65 and $6.75 (same rellanos with nacho cheese). My aunt’s meal was about $17. I won’t come again and may just stick to Mexican food at home because each time I visit I have yet to find a tasty Mexican food establishment in this area. But, I will say the place was clean and the people were friendly. Maybe we ordered the wrong items and maybe I should’ve complained about the temperature of our food but oh well. At least the salsa was good!
