Bidra med feedbackFirst time here. In hate the fractional sliders. They were ok.
After a terrible experience at Dr. Rolf’s I decided to email the owners (instead of just complain on Google). Gratefully, I received an excellent response from them that acknowledged my complaints, refunded my bill, promised to address these issues with their staff and work towards training everyone to prevent future problems. So, yes I’m giving them a 5 Star review on their response (their food was good as well) and will return to this establishment in the near future to try again, hopefully after kinks have been worked out.
We have visited their other location in Muskegon and were pleased with the service and food. That was not the case today at the Grand Haven restaurant. We waited nearly an hour for our food and it was mediocre at best when we finally received it. We asked to speak with the manager who was not helpful at all. He only offered excuses about them being busy and understaffed.
Pricey but good , You order on your phone ,eat inside or outside.I had the nacho with shredded beef ,not alot of meat but the rest of the nacho was tasty ,the mango sauce was excellent. everyone enjoyed their meals .Was fast to the table. Inside the armory brewery. Food not served after 9:30 pm.Entertainment some nights.
My group and I went to Dr. Rolf's BBQ on our way home as we always stop in Grand Haven and it was our first time visiting here. We came based on the high reviews but were surprised to end up very disappointed. It's both a restaurant and a brewery but they're separate businesses. You seat yourself, which is normal however you also have to go up to the counter for drinks, get your water, and then order your food via QR code on your phone which those aren't the worst things in the world but they still expect a tip with no bypass option even though you're doing majority of it yourself. We got sent back and forth from bar to front counter for a singular lemonade. Our food took forever to be made and then ended up being cold and mushy. It would make it a little better if we were presented with good service but everyone was kind of rude and acted like we were bothering them when we asked them for something or interrupted their conversations or unnecessarily long hugs they were giving to each other?? For the fact it's a pretty much self service restaurant, they probably don't have much work to do so when they actually have to do their job be prepared for them to be rude to you.
