Bidra med feedbackThe ideal venue for that special dinner in Grafton. The food, in this case the Duck and the Salmon dishes, was excellent. Professional, unobtrusive service enhanced the experience. We'll be back.
This restaurant had had good reviews so we chose to try it ourselves. The welcome was good. Our waitress was obviously in training and struggled to pour our wine correctly or take our order appropriately. The term "what would youse like" is not conducive to diners anywhere. Our entrée was delivered promptly and was very nice. However, our side plates were not removed at the time the entrée plate was. Some basic hospitality training is definitely required. Our steaks were both overcooked despite asking for them to be medium rare, however, they were both still edible and quite acceptable.
45 minutes for a cold salad with no cooked component and only 5 tables in the restaurant. Waited another 25 minutes for my main. Didnt bother sticking around for dessert. Thai salad was unfortnately bland, apart from the overwhelming sweetness from the pralineMy prawn and zucchini linguine was what i could only describe as overcooked prawns floating in a cream soup with a few zucchini noodles. No flavour at allSounds like the night was extremely disappointing for all diners as i overheard 4 complaints whilst i sat and waited hours for my food. Hopefully it was an off night but not sure ill return to try again
The food was absolutely amazing! Not what I was expecting at a small motel restaurant at all! I would absolutely recommend this place. Amazing food, and very inexpensive!
We have dined at Victoria's over the last few years it used to be good. Not sure if Chef has changed but the food has lost its quality and detailWe asked for the duck medium any chef knows not to over cook duck. It came out dry and overlooked even after requesting rare to medium. The oysters were lacking. And the steak. Once again what Chef cooks the life out of a steak and once again when asked rare to medium presents a tough overlooked steak which we leftManagement need to address the lack of communication between the waitress and the kitchen and you need to change your menu ! It's not fine dining but the prices are !
