Bidra med feedbackEggbert enjoyed the Singapore street noodles and the quick service. They could have been a bit spicier, so Eggbert decided to play with the soy sauce and candles.
The food was amazing, the atmosphere, elegant. The service was excellent, everyone there makes you feel at home. Whenever my husband and I are in Phoenix this is the one place we absolutely have to go to have a meal.
Normally we come here as it's one of very few restaurants in our area that's open late however tonight the quality of food was abysmal. I ordered the beef broccoli w/ street noodles and my wife had the combo lo mein w/ pork dumplings. The broccoli was cooked well but the beef was very overcooked. It was hard to chew as it was as tough as the bottom of a shoe. The noodles were dry and also included green onions that I asked to be removed. My wife's noodles were also very dry with minimal sauce but the dumplings were by far the worse of the whole meal! They were practically inedible! It was an order of 6 and she could only eat 2 because the other 4 were pretty much raw on the inside (as you can see from the picture)! This experience may very well be our last because to spend almost $100 and the whole meal was disappointing.. I don't think it's worth taking another chance. SN: I would have preferred to return to the restaurant to bring up these concerns but they were already closed at the time I wrote this.
Absolutely love it here! Not only is the food fresh and delicious, the staff is the best! Seriously, these are not your typical restaurant employees, they're literally people I would want to hang out with. Always very friendly and personable without being invasive. Admittedly, the prices are a little heavier than I'd want to shell out frequently but the experience is well worth it for what you get. 10/10 my family will continue out patronage here.
The food is much more up scale than your average Chinese restaurant. The seasonings were delightful and the presentation was worth taking some photos. The sweet/sour soup was the best I ever had. The shrimp was cooked nice and tender, and not over done. How they did that with the coating was impressive. The orange chicken was also tender with a flavorful sauce. I highly recommend that dish with the stir fried rice. My 96 year old mom ate her whole plate which is not her norm. Very nice experience. Will definitely do it again
