Bluebird Cafe - Golden

This little place is a true gem. You are well advised to use a GPS to navigate to it as it is very close to the #1 hwy, but a little convoluted to get there. Once there however, it is worth the trip. Food is all made fresh, sandwiches and wraps, and great coffee. Seating is limited so try to eat outside lunch rush hours.

They have by far the best coffee in Golden, freshly grind Fratello coffee from Calgary. The sandwiches and muffins are always fresh and delicious and they actually change there menu from time to time to keep us interested.

We had lunch catered 2 days from the Blue Bird Cafe and the soup, sandwiches and deserts were all great! Special dietary needs are met when asked for gluten and dairy free with no issue. Soup was home made and sandwiches were all excellent. Dealers were very tasty also. I wish we had a cafe like this where I live.

Picked up sandwiches and snacks for our canoe paddling day. An out of the way location so you have to look for it. Coffee was excellent and the sandwiches and brownies outstanding. Returned the next day for more coffee and snacks for the road. Busy and favoured place with locals.

Crusty bread, real turkey breast, cranberry sauce, salty kettle chips... this sandwich delivers a flavor punch! I was recommended here by a local and she knew what she was talking about!
