Under Pressure Brewing - Golden Valley

I stopped in here to meet a buddy and wow, this place is so much fun. All the staff and customers were just having a good time. They have a ridiculous amount of beers on tap and each one is better than the last. A special note to the dude with the killerblack beard, stay frosty and do what you do. I really enjoyed y?all?s place.

What a cool place to spend time! This brewery was filled with a plethora of books and majestic lighting making the atmosphere feel enchanted. We initially got a flight of 8 beers?what awesome flight boards!?and then went back for two more mixed drinks.Try the Butter beer! Most of the beers were flavorful and light tasting with no poor aftertaste that I?m so accustomed to. Theolder gentleman at the bar was very welcoming and friendly as well. We certainly enjoyed our visit and would love to come back!

The staff was welcoming and down-to-earth, though they seemed a bit discouraged by the impact of COVID-19, which is completely understandable. However, they shared all the exciting things they’ve been working on and hope to continue. Right now, they have implemented good social distancing measures, provide hand sanitizer, and have a lovely outdoor patio. They are also preparing for a wedding reception upstairs tomorrow, and in the past, they’ve hosted live knight duels and sword-fighting demonstrations. I’m really looking forward to coming back to this place and watching how it evolves over time. And the quality of the beer? Wow, that’s definitely what will bring me back during 2020. (I took pictures without people to respect their privacy and because we were the last ones there.)

The venue is quite interesting, with a medieval vibe and lots of books and games to enjoy. They have a selection of average beers. I visited in the fall and stopped by for a quick drink with my husband and toddler while waiting for our oldest to finish gymnastics. Our toddler was really taken with a plastic pumpkin that was part of the decor. However, the bearded bartender insisted we put the pumpkin back before allowing us to settle our bill, which made us feel judged and unwelcome. Overall, the bartender came across as quite cold and unfriendly.

I absolutely love Thursday night trivia at this place; it's my go-to spot! They have themed nights, but they also incorporate general trivia as well. With over 50 wonderful beers to choose from, it's definitely worth a visit!
