Imperial Palace Chinese Restaurant

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. Everything appeared bland and unappetizing. The portions were small and quite pricy. Even the Chinese tea was overpriced. The service was alright, but the staff seemed unhappy. I definitely would not return to this restaurant.

I was extremely disappointed by this restaurant! Star really needs to reconsider their offerings at Imperial. We had high hopes for the meal to be enjoyable, but unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. It pains me to say that I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is spectacular, with a large and intricately designed Chinese decor. The menu and food were really enjoyable.

We ate two nights here. in the second night we ordered the same, but they could not compare with the first night. the waiter ben in the first night was top class and helped me choose my meal. he was on the top of the dinge and profi in the opposite. the elderly lady in the next night, who stared with not much to do, and she was loud and transmitting attention to men, but not women. had a bad attitude. eating is simple and nothing to write home.

After a very enjoyable Dim Sum type lunch at another Imperial restaurant in Sydney earlier in the year, when the Groupon voucher for a similar lunch time deal in Brisbane came up, we didn 't hesitate to give it a try. All but 1 of the...14 dishes we shared on our table, were a resounding success (the honeycomb beef would be described as interesting..... . Service was great and the views over the river are terrific. A perfect place to have a good sampling of what Chinese Dim Sum has to offer.
