Poke Bros. - Glenview

This is the third Poke Bros location I've tried, and I often stick to my usual order. Unfortunately, the sushi rice here was a bit tough, and the portion sizes seemed smaller than at other locations. My meal didn’t even come close to filling the container, whereas I've had much larger portions for the same dish at other branches. For $36 for two people, I expected better value for my money.

Absolutely fantastic! I ordered online, and my food was ready in less than five minutes—almost perfectly timed with my drive. I opted for poke because it's a healthy choice.

I found only four small pieces of salmon in my $15 bowl, and the other ingredients I ordered seemed to be just a fraction of a standard portion. I'm not sure if the staff were inexperienced or if this is their usual serving size, but it definitely didn't justify the price.

My experience at the restaurant wasn't very enjoyable. The dish I ordered was tasteless and lacked any real flavor. I considered adding pineapple, but it didn’t appear fresh or appealing, so I opted not to include it. I doubt I'll be coming back.

A friend suggested this restaurant, and I was surprised to learn it had been open for several months until I decided to try it today. The food is prepared similarly to sushi, but it's served in a bowl. You can select your preferred toppings, proteins, and more, which made for a unique dining experience. The waiter was very patient and took the time to explain everything in detail. Overall, I had an excellent experience; the food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place!
