Bidra med feedbackIt is a charming place and a little hard to find. Looks like a country house, but there's a restaurant. I love the atmosphere here. Various tables, cool lights and wonderful decoration. Hushpuppies with maple syrup and powder sugar were delicious. We ordered ribeyes loaded with red potatoes....this is how I judge food; if you reach for the salt, it is done wrong. I looked at the salt and wondered why it was there. Not to season is a sign of great food. I feel like a 5-star restaurant at Casual Attire. The 70 dollars we have on 2 steaks, 4 pages, 2 drinks and all you can eat, close your mouth puppies was less than what I paid in restaurants in downtown Savanah and the farmhouse has bound them in my book. The food here is definitely worthy of reservation and fabric napkin. Try it, drive out the way to go. You're not sorry. I almost forgot. The best, BEST banana pudding I've ever had, much better than sweet potatoes (they're famous for their banana pudding). Go to see yourself
Love their BBQ sauces, hot sauces and salad dressing. They have been bought from their gift shop for years. Our state guest has always stolen before we leave town or ask us to bring us when we go to them.
1. Time and it won't be my last. Shrimp n grits on point. Baked oysters at the point. Shrimp n Steak good, but not the best. Everything was freshly prepared. It took an hour to get the food, so I couldn't give 5 stars.
The food was good. The service was adequate, but some servers did not show up for work the day that I went to eat there, so the staff was limited. Still I would recommend this restaurant.
Easy to find. We have the burger basket.
