Bidra med feedbackFamily and I enjoyed our stay. We used the opportunity to vote the brook. Very pleasant stay with much to do. The camping-wide WiFi would have been nice to use when it works.
What a delightful campground. The water was so refreshing and the camp host were some of the nicest I’ve been around. My family and I camp all around Alaska every year in tents and rate them. I’d definitely give this a five. It was a short to the bathroom but that was fine. Everyone was enjoying themselves and I would definitely go there again.
The food was excellent—exactly what you would hope for from a roadside restaurant. Everything was flavorful and delicious. The service was impressive; it was quick and efficient. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely return. The onion rings and the double bacon cheeseburger were the highlights for me.
Amenities include hot showers, clean bathrooms, and a laundry room. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming—truly wonderful people. We had an amazing time and plan to return several times each year. Even if we travel to Valdez, we choose to stay here and just drive to Valdez for the day. My recommendation is that if you're visiting Valdez, this is the perfect place to camp and take day trips into the town. This place is far superior to anything you'll find in Valdez or the surrounding area.
This campground is located in a nice, quiet area by the creek, perfect for camping. However, there isn’t much to do besides camping itself. There is a restroom and a shower near the office, which is convenient. Unfortunately, there aren't many activities for kids unless they bring their own entertainment on Saturdays. The price is a bit steep, at $27 for a tent spot, especially since there is no playground for children. Nevertheless, I was looking for peace and beauty, and that’s exactly what I found.
