Bidra med feedbackWorking and living local it's hard to find good consistent coffee shops. I come here at least 1 or twice a week (as I said I also work in the area) and bring back coffee for the workers. They can get a bit busy sometimes so I try and get in the just after they open to start my day off with a late. They also do vanilla shots if you have a sweet tooth. Thank you very much for your great coffees. The amount of coffees we have saved on with your offers helps too :)
Noting impressive about this place besides location. Food average, toasted croissant served squashed and flat! Coffee not bad but served in old fashion cups, something you would get in a deli on the side of the road, (when I say old fashion I don't mean funky , retro, or vintage looking mugs/cups) Service OK, a bit of wait but not too extreme. Their passion and love for good food does not show in flavours or presentation Only reason we went there was because Esca was closed! The tables are tiny ,but big enough for two people , can accommodate even three, but if you are a group of four or more go somewhere else. There is no atmosphere or a feel about this place, no character! They could and should do so much more with that place, especially when they are competing with places like Esca and the rest of the Glenelg. We are spoilt for choice in Glenelg, why spend your money here when you got so much better on offer !? Needless to say will not go back there.
This I believe is now one of 4 Veloce's around Adelaide.
Was a nice place to stop sit in the sun and have lunch.
I heard about this cafe in a magazine which gave it a great review so I thought I would come and check it out for myself.
