Silver Spring House Milwaukee

We just left the Silver Spring House after the worst customer service we have ever experienced. We arrived at 5:45 and there were very few cartridges in the building. We sat right next to the Hostess Station within 10 minutes of our arrival. However, it took 40 minutes until a waitress came to the table on our drinks order. After our food order was accepted (we ordered burgers and fish), we did not see the waitress again. After all, we were able to fly someone down. The Lord said he found the manager. Instead, he sent our waitress out. The only thing she said was 20 minutes. We had been there for over an hour. We waited another 15 to 20 minutes. We decided to go. We never saw the manager or our food. We came hungry and left hunger and disappointed. This would not have happened if the previous owners were around. We're not going back.

Has been there forever! Now new owners who have even made it better. Staff-fun eager to assist. Food- best, many choices specials. Prices- very affordable, Parking- huge lot. Patrons- so friendly. Go back again again!!!

Overall, the server seemed preoccupied; our drinks were never refilled, and we waited about 10 minutes just to process our payment. We felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there.

They were on a quest for an outstanding fish fry, and Silver Spring House delivered! The cod was incredibly fresh and flavorful. They serve three large pieces, which were so filling that I couldn't eat more, though I wanted to! The potato pancakes were delicious, and the fries were plentiful and tasty. They also make a fantastic old-fashioned cocktail! My husband enjoyed everything as well. We’re already looking forward to coming back for their Monday roasted chicken, Taco Tuesday, and more. The service was excellent too!

Excellent bar, delicious food, and friendly staff. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable throughout the venue. Prices were fair, and there were some great specialties on the menu. It’s also a family-friendly place, making it perfect for bringing our kids and enjoying a pleasant afternoon or dinner.
