Kontentsu - Glendale

Exceptional ramen! What truly sets it apart is the Tonkotsu broth – it arrives steaming hot, the kind that demands cautious noodle-slurping to prevent scalding your lips. You could wait for it cool down, but that’s hardly an option. The broth evokes memories of a type of pepper soup, commonly enjoyed with fufu by Ghanaians (and Nigerians). I think there is kale added, which imparts a bittersweet note to the overall flavor. Throw in the braised pork, and it becomes a heavenly. It made me want to sing for joy. It could also be I was just very hungry and the bowl of ramen hit all the right spots. I will happily go back.

Food is amazing, the romen is great. The best I have had. The sushi is surprisingly excellent as well. Highly recommend it ?.

BEST ramen in the area. I’ve come back probably 20 times at least. Every time I come home from college I make this a must-stop. I get the spicy tonkatsu without fail. My boyfriend approves of everything else on the menu since he’s more experimental than me :

Nice but mediocre tonkotsu not very flavorful. The karaoke chicken was a bit oily.

I'm deeply disappointed by my recent visit to your establishment. The staff's lack of proper training was evident as they not only botched our orders but also kept us waiting for nearly an hour, all the while watching other patrons who arrived later receiving their orders promptly. The absence of any updates or communication regarding the delays was particularly frustrating, leaving us feeling ignored and unimportant. This experience significantly marred our wedding anniversary celebration, and I regret choosing your venue for such an important occasion. Given the chance, I would give this experience a 0-star rating, as it played a part in tarnishing what should have been a special day.
