Ridiculous hold time, kids not brushing their hair for work, a guy slouching over the bagel stand like hes so cool while taking orders (arm hanging over the computer) no organization with these employees... what happens to good work ethic? Do these kids think it's okay to go to work looking like they just woke up? I truly miss the old Store Manager here... everything ran smoothly and the employees were nice, happy, and it was more organized. The old SM made sure to make customers smile even if its a long hold time. This place truly went down...
So, just want to be clear. I love this location, the people are usually very kind and friendly. It?s close to my house and I go there often. The manager has always been super kind as well. The one thing that?s been really upsetting is the customer service from corporate apparently. I reached out twice, through a survey and through the ?contact us? option on the main website. We went for Father?s Day and got a lot of bagels for the family and we?re excited to have a great breakfast. Unfortunately it was all literally inedible and I couldn?t go back because it was close to closing. I requested being contacted back twice since Father?s Day. It?s been a long time now and not a single word, call or email. Just really sad, we spent a decent amount that day on bagels that we literally just had to throw out and nobody helped out. Just sucked they didn?t care to try and contact back when it was requested. It could be fixed super quick, I come there often. It was just a mistake by this location, it happens and not mad at them but it would?ve been nice to have it taken care of instead of ignored :
I want to make one thing clear: I don?t like attitude, or disrespect. My girlfriend and I experienced both when we went to this location. When my girlfriend was ordering, a blond cashier gave her the nastiest look I have ever seen. My girlfriend ordered a coffee, and the girl inputted everything on the screen, but when my girlfriend asked for the coffee lightly sweetened, she continued giving her that same death stare without putting it on the screen. My girlfriend had to ask her to put it there three times. The coffee here is okay. The food is great. But the attitude is poor. If we are treated the same way again, we will walk out in the middle of the order.
I just bought this Bakers Dozen of bagels with 2 schmears at the 59th Avenue location and the staff person was going to charge me $17.99. The menu on the wall clearly shows $16.99 for this order. I had to ask for a manager to get him to change the price on my bill. Imagine how many people don't pay attention and get charged $1 more than they thought they were paying. I'm sorry but a business should not raise their prices on their cash register unless their signage and menu show the higher price.
