Chelsea's Fish Chicken - Glendale

The fish and chips at this restaurant are truly excellent. Although they only serve catfish, it’s perfect just the way it is. The batter is fantastic, and the fries are also very tasty. I highly recommend it!

When I visited this restaurant, I expected to enjoy some shrimp and fries. Unfortunately, my fries were soft, cold, and chewy, and the shrimp appeared to be frozen store-bought ones. I was very disappointed. Additionally, instead of nacho cheese, they topped my boyfriend’s fries with hard mozzarella cheese. I cannot recommend this place; it felt like a total waste of money.

I dropped my money on the ground, glanced at it, and decided to close the window. I won't be returning; I'd rather buy some Checkers fries from the grocery store than be treated like that!

The fish was tough and lacking in flavor. However, the fries and ranch were excellent. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of my meal. I'm not sure if it was the hot sauce or the fish, but it made me incredibly sick, which is unusual for me. I ordered the same dish twice in a row and had a bad experience both times, so I’m confident it was their food that caused it. They really need to reconsider either the hot sauce or the quality of the fish.

The fish was overly tough and lacked flavor. On the positive side, the fries and ranch dressing were excellent, but that's where the positives ended. I'm not sure if it was the hot sauce or the fish, but I experienced a really bad upset stomach afterward. They might need to consider changing their hot sauce or sourcing different fish. I've never had such a severe reaction to hot sauce before. I ate there twice in a row and got sick both times, so I’m confident it was their food that caused it.
