Bidra med feedbackI came here about ten years ago when my family happened to be in the area, and I do not remember much of the meal, but I do remember loving the place. Two things that stuck out to me at the time was the atmosphere and the ice cream. The garden theme of the restaurant is so creative and comforting, and the ice cream was super creamy. I have wanted to come back here for so long, so to celebrate my birthday my mom and I came here. We did not have a reservation, as we were not sure what time we would be arriving. We had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated on a Friday afternoon, so I highly recommend making a reservation. However, waiting for the table was no trouble, since we just explored the store attached to the restaurant. We could have spent hours in there! Once we were seated we were given water in mason jars, which I absolutely love, and their complimentary flower pot bread. The butter that comes with the bread is always a different flavor, and ours was vanilla lavender. Despite the hype around the flower pot bread, that was probably the least exciting part of the meal, but still not bad. Having trouble deciding what to order, our server helped us choose the Terrain Burger. We both ordered it and it was definitely a great choice! The burger tasted fresh and the balsamic onion jam was an amazing touch. My mom also order the Arugula Pear Salad. She said it was the best salad she's ever had and loved how all the flavors complimented each other. Finally, we ordered the Chocolate Terrarium for dessert and our server even put a candle alongside the dessert. This dessert is definitely a must try! The dark chocolate cake is not too sweet and the matcha crunch is so creative and delicious! I highly recommend Terrain Cafe to anyone looking for a good meal with a relaxing ambiance. I cannot wait to come back!
Food for thought: why is this beautiful place reservations only? You stop in and notice so many empty tables then find out you can't sit down for a nice lil treat because all of them are reserved. That is a huge let down, especially when hungry....
Terrain is super cute, the greenhouse style dining area is beautifully decorated and such a fun place to eat! There are sooo many vegetarian options on the menu which I really appreciate and everything is super fresh! I have been to this location a few times. This time around I got the truffle fries and mushroom soup. The truffle fries were delicious, they had a lot of cheese on them which I loved. The soup was not great if I am being honest. It looked pretty but was no longer warm when I got it, it really did not taste good I only ate a few spoonfuls! I would recommend skipping the soup and going for another option. Also the flower pot bread and butter they serve everyone is always delicious and something I look forward to when going there!
We ate dinner here and sat inside. The restaurant feels very much like a green house with lights, plants, and fun natural decorations. It's very cozy and romantic. The tables were a little close but not full all night so it was ok. The food was great! The gnocchi was different than traditional but even better. The cheese board was delicious with goat cheese and lots of other fun stuff to dip into like honey. My husband got the tuna which was done very nicely. Our server was attentive. Would like to come back again!
First time eating here for brunch--the food is delicious with a unique twist on standard fare. The fried avocado Benedict was outstanding with roasted cauliflower as the base! The service is on point always as is the lovely atmosphere and especially around the Christmas holiday season. Plenty of free parking and we also took a stroll around the nursery and store after eating.
